Abstract

Current paper is about problem observation system based on two dimensional radar. The paper discusses the formulation of the problem of air surveillance of objects moving over the marine area. It is shown that is possible in principle three dimensional observation aircraft objects already on the basis of a single radar. However, due to incomplete information base paths exist unobserved object classes. This, above all, the area of low altitude. To overcome this limitation, we recommend a transition from a model problem in Cartesian coordinates to the representation problem in the spherical (geographic) coordinate system.
